Steam Deck: Can It Function Without a Battery?

In a recent video, I dived into the question of whether the Steam Deck, could transform into a console-like experience by running without a battery.

Initially drawn to portable gaming, I realized it wasn't my preference and started considering alternatives.

The Steam Deck's small screen and handheld controls posed immersion challenges for someone accustomed to larger screens and precise controls. Additionally, limited competition options left much to be desired.

I tested the Steam Deck without a battery, and to my surprise, it worked flawlessly when connected to a power source, resembling a console experience.

While the Steam Deck is an excellent portable gaming device, its potential to operate without a battery opens doors to a console-like experience.
